Charles Thomas Budan is a New York-based actor and filmmaker from Eastern Iowa. As a teenager, Charles was enchanted by Westerns and Crime sagas before digging deeper into foreign movies and documentaries. But his frustration with the lack of filmmaking opportunities in his hometown inspired him to look for a new creative outlet. He found it in the local community theatre scene where he discovered his love for plays both new and classic.Charles graduated from NYU’s Tisch School of the Arts with a BFA in Acting and a Minor in Film. He recently wrapped production on his short film adaptation of Eugene O'Neil's A Wife For A Life. In the coming weeks, he will be starring in Mud River Stone at The Stella Adler Studio of Acting and next month as Caliban in The Tempest at The Vino Theater.
